ABC is taking extra precautions to protect you. Our Board of Directors, Executive Director and staff are monitoring the situation and are keeping in close contact with local leaders and health officials to insure we are acting in the latest guidance.

-ABC will be taking clients by appointment only. Please call 337-433-2707 to schedule.

  • Masks are required while in the building by all parties.

  • Sanitizing procedures will be done prior to entering the back area, and a sanitizing station will be set up at the front.

  • If you or anyone living in your home has experienced any of the following symptoms please reschedule your appointment for the safety of our staff and their families. (ex. fever, extreme tiredness, loss of taste, sore throat, diarrhea)

  • All guests are asked to stay in their car during appointments to keep the waiting room social distanced

  • 1 guest allowed at ultrasound appointments

-ABC Wednesday parenting classes have been moved to an online format. Please join our Facebook Page or call the center to learn more about you can continue to stay involved with parenting education.

We understand that pregnancy can be overwhelming, especially during this time. If you have questions and need help, we are available via phone to help you 337-433-2797.  If you have questions about your due date, how to find a doctor, how to sign up for Medicaid, how adoption works, how abortion works, how parenting works… we’ve got you! You’re not alone! You don’t have to do this all by yourself.

Beware of abortion pill scams during COVID-19: If you are feeling pressured to have an abortion, please call us first. Unfortunately, there are people and businesses who profit from crisis situations. Do not accept an abortion pill via the internet or anyone who is not a Board Certified OBGYN. This is not legal and not safe for you.

You should contact your OBGYN/doctor to inform them that you have symptoms suggestive of coronavirus. They will provide further advice, including whether or not you need to go to the hospital.

You should also follow the general public guidelines of hand washing and self quarantining.
